TCP, XTI and 2.6 kernel

Hi all,

we'd like to migrate to the 2.6 kernel and have the following questions:

We tried LiS 2.18, but how to integrate the inet driver and the xnet 
library from 2.16.18? Are they compatible?

Or can one recommend migrating 2.16.18 to the 2.6 kernel? Is there any 
documentation (or patches) how that was done with LiS 2.18?

A general question: Who of you listening here is using XTI/TLI for 
communication? With which protocol? Under which type of hardware?
