I'm having another issue with NTP on 7.2.2 (2023-05-28) I noted before I had to add libcap.lrp to leaf.cfg to allow leaf to run. On my second system I upgraded, ntp crashes at boot: /var/log/kern.log:Aug 23 13:54:55 sweitzer kernel: [ 15.422275] traps: ntpd[2734] general protection fault ip:7f619e41f1b4 sp:7f619e430a08 error:0 in libgcc_s.so.1[7f619e412000+11000] No log lines are generated from the ntp program. If I start ntp after boot, it starts up and runs fine. I have two systems, both SMP, running the same Leaf release on VMWare 6.7U3: Linux sweitzer 5.15.93-x86_64 #1 SMP Sun May 28 11:31:15 CEST 2023 x86_64 GNU/Linux Broken: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz, MemTotal: 747180 kB, LRP="root license local dhcpcd keyboard shorwall dnsmasq dropbear mhttpd webconf dbclient ezipupd libcap ntpd hdsupp openvpn easyrsa tc rsync ethtool" Working: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz, MemTotal: 489900 kB, LRP="root license local dhcpcd keyboard shorwall dnsmasq dropbear mhttpd webconf dbclient ezipupd ntpd libcap hdsupp openvpn easyrsa tc rsync" Looking for any troubleshooting tips. - Robert ------------------------------------------------------------------------ leaf-user mailing list: [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-user Support Request -- http://leaf-project.org/
