Right Erich, the AU6465 chip is a USB-2 to SD card interface. So the SD card if present might be enumerated as you said. So Bob has to make sure he inserts only one media in his APU1D to have it enumerated as sda, when both SD card and USB key are present at the same time, then  USB key will probably be sdb…
