This newer version does not seem to help.
However, if you are unable to reproduce, I'll need to try the build locally.

ls -al test-logs/828-ncurses-6.5-20250531
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 29 Jun 6 22:46 test-logs/828-ncurses-6.5-20250531
cat test-logs/828-ncurses-6.5-20250531

It's an automated build, which starts from a clean setup
https://github.com/marcindulak/jhalfs-ci/actions/runs/15370571417/job/43648776458
However, when I restart a failed pipeline, then it uses cached directories.
You comment made me realize I need to remove the cache manually when
re-running the failed pipeline.

The pipeline often fails unable to download various patch files.
For example this one
https://github.com/marcindulak/jhalfs-ci/actions/runs/15370571417/job/43249083644
(you can't see the logs, so I paste them below).
When you test jhalfs, do you use any alternative patch locations?
