Not yet. We use it at the moment as a proof of concept only in the ML
branch. We have not yet decided whether we want to go with that in the LFS
project at all. At the moment it doesn't look like that the idea of using
the patch files to reduce download and disk storage is going to attrack a
majority of the editors while it has been said LFS is a place of showing
different ways of how things can be done. This is just one of them.

But again, its not "official LFS", its just a PoC in the multilib branch.
When the ticket Xi mentioned gets closed (meaning a decision has been
made), the MLFS branch will use the same strategy as LFS does.
