But I think jhalfs is suboptimal in this case, because the test cannot be disabled. It is easy to add the possibility to disable this "mismatch test" (recall that it is detecting a mismatch between extracted directory version and package version. This test is handy to detect errors in the book, but almost of no use to non editors.) Actually, there is a "TODO" comment in jhalfs, telling to add the possibility to set "TEST_MISMATCH" during configuration. So I'll do that... This will be an "all or none" option. Disabling the test for only specific packages is more difficult, and maybe not worth the hassle. But I am open to other views...
