kio-extras really not needed anymore?

I noticed that with commit f806bbf2991848ab272a8b6749de3dd86f544e50
kio-extras was removed from the book because it is thought to be "no
longer needed for the packages in the book".

When I asked for kio-extras to be added to the book a few years ago, it
was necessary
- for the listing and display of man-/info-pages in KDE-Helpcenter
- to display the thumbnails of available wallpapers
- to exchange data with a smartphone (libmtp also necessary)

Perhpaps this has changed in Plasma-6. If not, I suggest to
re-introduce kio-extras, as all of the above mentioned functionality can
be considered important.
