That's debatable.  "To test the results, issue make test." is actually
correct as it is a complete sentence ending with a full stop and there
is no list or long explanation following "issue".

A better way to address this would be to reformat all such instructions
identical to other commands, that is:

To test the results:
make test

This would increase uniformity throughout the books and also reduce
typing- or copy/paste-errors as the full stop after "test" would be
gone.  But that would be something for -12.4 or -13.0, I think.
