Hm.  I just took a quick look at the dependencies for LO.  There's no
browser listed.  But AFAIK a browser is needed for LO-help.  Has that
been overlooked?  Or am I wrong here?  In Firefox even java-script has
to be enabled for the LO help-pages to be displayed.

Maybe java-script needs to be enabled, like in Firefox.  Apart from lynx
and links: don't you have Firefox installed on your system?
