I receive errors when compiling Thunderbird-140.8.0esr:

I had the same errors with 140.7 but assumed it was something I did 
wrong.  My plan was to wait for 13.0 or a new Thunderbird version and 
further research the problem.  However, Firefox-140.8.0esr compiles 
successfully.

My guess is still the problem is on my end but I thought I'd report it 
prior to the 13.0 release.
