Thanks Eric, I see that now.

At any rate, I rebuilt rust after building LLVM, and it seems that that error
has been resolved. I have a new issue trying to install Mesa, and am again
stuck.

Compiling C object src/c11/impl/libmesa_util_c11.a.p/threads_posix.c.o

../source/c11/threads.h:121:25: error: conflicting types for 'once_flag'; have
'pth read_once_t' {aka 'int}

there are a couple of other errors related to this same threads.h file.
