Two questions: 1. Are you hand-typing the commands from the book, or doing cut-and-paste? 2. What happens when you actually try to figure these problems out yourself by googling the errors and seeing what results you get. Most who are sincere list a problem and the steps they've taken to try to resolve the problem. You seem to get in trouble and just stop and ask blfs-support. Not a good way to learn. I honestly do wish you good luck, but it sounds to me like you are in over your head. If I were you I would start over from the very beginning. You should not be having these issues if you carefully followed the instructions from the book. -- Randy --------------YNM1KobcI0TELM0Zsem2vN6U Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"> </head> <body> On 3/3/2026 6:12 PM, "stephan" (<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a> via blfs-support Mailing List) wrote:<span style="white-space: pre-wrap"> </span> <blockquote type="cite" cite="mid:[email protected]"> <pre class="moz-quote-pre" wrap=""> At any rate, I rebuilt rust after building LLVM, and it seems that that error has been resolved.
