It's out of the scope of LFS. We want to keep the LFS system settled down, i.e. if you rebuild a package on a finished LFS system, you should get the same result as the package was built as a part of LFS. Cross compilation cannot satisfy the intention. Yes it's valid to make a full cross-compiled system, but it's unrelated to LFS.
