Re: Building LFS in VMware Workstation

Hi Steve. Maybe of limited usefulness, but I’ve just built LFS 12.4 on a
Proxmox VM using a Debian host.

I installed LFS to a .img file and attached that to a new vm from which I can
boot.

I’ve also had success in enabling the virtiofs kernel flag to allow my host
storage to mount to LFS, which makes setting somethings up without networking
much easier. Maybe there are some commonalities between VMWare and Proxmox
that would be helpful.
