I'm totally with you on this. I shall personally miss System V very=20
much, although it should continue to work for some time using the build=20
instructions from System D for the most part.

Also I am not a huge fan of System D. I understand why it executes=20
things in parallel; going through dmesg and journal logs though I find a=20
pain since no 2 bootups are the same with regards to timings and=20
execution order.

As to 12.4 System V, I can say for sure that the latest dev build,=20
currently at 12.4-92 builds perfectly with the updated glibc and=20
binutils and its nice having the updated OpenSSL and Shadow too.

And as you say, appreciation 100% for everybody involved behind the=20
scenes who help make this project what it is.
