Would just like to ask a few questions on LFS 13.0 systemd

Hi there

I have already compiled a linux 13.0 systemd

1) Would like to ask why I just cant use a "much more advanced kernel"
(like linux 7 on an LFS 13.0 systemd?

2) Which is much more feasible
a) install a kernel "in place" (means replacing the same kernel with
different options) or
b) revert back to an image with no kernel (i use fsarchiver as an imager),
and just recompile the kernel (with new options)

3) I haven't read much on BLFS, but can you explain to me initramfs?

4) I've read on making ISO on LFS, but can you explain the format to me (is
it just like a zip file with a bootloader? is this a separate bootloader?)
