fragmentation threshold support

I'm using wlan-ng 0.2.1 pre26.
I'd like to control the length of the frames I send
(to set a fragmentation threshold). 
I quickly went through the code and it seems that the
driver does not support yet fragmentation of the
frames to be transmitted (fragmentation threshold)and
that it even does not control the length of the
frames. But at the same time i can't send frames much
longer than 1500 bytes. 
Does the wlan-driver really not support fragmentation
thresholds? Is there on going work on this for future
releases?
