Re: wireless squatters

Yeah, I use WEP plus MAC address filtering, and then keep it on a
physically different subnet from the wired home network. You need to
crack OpenVPN to get to anything sensitive. Depending on how savvy you
are and how much effort you want to go to, you can also stick the
wireless behind a linux box with iptables rules to only allow DHCP and
OpenVPN out of the subnet. That's what clueful businesses do these days
(except for MAC filtering, which quickly becomes unmanageable as the
number of devices grows).
