Too bad we couldn't identify the real source of the pre-load  - for all we know FC3 may be clever enough to try and
push things like that into the initrd/initramfs
if you had the card present when you first installed FC3.

If you are on hal 0.4.7, you would need to re-compile it
to stop it reading /proc/bus/usb/devices when you plugged another device in. I gave details in an earlier post.
I'm hoping/expecting that for >=0.5.0 this won't be necessary.

I need to play a bit more myself - and then we could suggest
something goes in the README/FAQ.
