Peter, Thanks for posting the /etc/wlan/shared patch. So far this has been successful in allowing me to recover from network lockups that previously required unplugging the adaptor. I'm using a D-Link DWL-122 on Fedora Core 3; this adaptor seems to misbehave differently from the MA111. My problem was solved by either a long (20 second) sleep in wlan.agent, or hotplug-blacklisting prism2_usb and modprobing it late in the boot process. I tried going back to hotplug with your patch in place, but this restored the lockup. Is your adaptor being started by hotplug? With DEBUG=yes set in /etc/hotplug/hotplug.functions, do you see any activity from usb.agent in the logs, _after_ linkstatus=CONNECTED? Anyway, glad it's all working, though it's a shame in a way that there isn't a single neat solution that works for everyone!
