As a follow-up to my reports of problems with the D-Link DWL-122 on Fedora Core 3, I'm happy to report that after a week of using the DWL-122 with Fedora Core 4, I have not had a single problem. I'm allowing it to start via hotplug (i.e. prism2_usb not blacklisted, no alias in modprobe.conf). The only config I did was to copy over my old wlan.conf, wlancfg-XX and ifcfg-wlan0 scripts. Everything else is as shipped, I have not needed to add a sleep or anything else. So far, anyway - I hope I'm not tempting fate here! FC4 uses hal-0.5.2-2, which may be a factor. However I had problems on FC3 even with hal disabled. Cheers, Dave ___________________________________________________________ How much free photo storage do you get?
