Toshiba Equium A60

Hi.
I am using the laptop Toshiba Equium A60 (P4 HT) and Mandriva.
I tried with my friends to install a PCMCIA Netgear Card MA521 without
success. The same care on another pc is working and a modem card 56k on my
pc in working too, so I believe the pcmcia socket should work.
The Ma521 card seems to have as chip RTL8180 but no device is found in
dmesg or lspci.

Has anyone any ideas of the "100%" not native mode or "routeirq" warnings
means ?
Why if I insert the card I don't see anything?
