Hi,

I have been working on performance analysis aspect of wireless MAC (802.11 a/b/g) for lat 2 yrs.
Now I want some information regarding how MAC is implemented in real systems. What portion of it is implemeneted in software/hardware/firmware? Please let me know of some development issues like platform/buffers/timers/interfacing with other layers in stack etc.
If poosible pls provide some links, tutorials, documents which discuss these things.
