warning about /proc/net/wireless in log

As per my previous posts, I'm now running wlan-ng compiled from svn 
trunk with kernel 2.6.14. It's working fine, but my kernel log has the 
following:

wlan0 (WE) : Driver using old /proc/net/wireless support, please fix 
driver !

(That's not my excamation mark, BTW - it's part of the log entry).

I don't see anything on the TODO list that relates to this, so hopefully 
this post will be useful to somebody.
