Hi everyone,
I'm brand new to the list so excuse me if this is a repeat, eventhough I was
searching the archive for quite a while.
OK, my question is the following :
I have 2 interfaces, one WLAN and one LAN connected to the same network
130.230.50.0, so they have the same gateway (130.230.50.1).
Is it possible to receive multicast address i.e 239.252.10.1 from wlan0 and
i.e 239.252.12.1 from eth0 at the same time ??
I tried and so far couldn't get it work. When both interface are up at the
same time, multicast will only be received on the interface that first went
up.
Of course, to do that I used the route command (i.e route add -host
239.252.10.1 dev wlan0, etc ... eth1)

My wlan interface is ipw2100.

thanks very much for any help
adrian
