I was attempting to send a file over from one host over to another when i met this problem. This was the step that i have done: i first made a connection by inputting the following command: tftp 192.168.1.203 (192.168.1.203 is the destination hot where i want to send my file to) upon which i typed put test.sxw /home/test2.sxw where my test.sxw is to be sent to the destination node (192.168.1.203) at the home folder under the file name of test2.sxw. However i got an eror message stating : Error code 1: File not found Could anyone enlighten me as to what i have missed out or done wrong that results in this error message. Thank you for your help Regards Matthew ___________________________________________________________________________ [root@localhost /]# tftp 192.168.1.203 tftp> put test.sxw /home/test2.sxw Error code 1: File not found tftp> trace Packet tracing on. tftp> put test.sxw /home/test2.sxw sent WRQ <file=/home/test2.sxw, mode=netascii> received ERROR <code=1, msg=File not found> Error code 1: File not found _________________________________________________________________ Get cheap fares online with MSN Travel http://www.msn.com.sg/travel/
