Re: LKCD upgraded to 2.6.5

Hi Micah,

There is an LKCD  kernel patch set that was posted to this mailing list last
week by Bob Montgomery. This patch set brings the current LKCD tree
up-to-date. The intention is to get feedback on this patch set, with the
idea of checking it into the tree (ASAP!). The patch set contains most of
the patches (in one form or another) that have been posted to this list over
the last six months or so -- plus some new work by HP, IBM, Fujitsu, and
others. There is also a patch set that brings the lcrash utility up-to-date.
The primary emphasis behind this latest effort has been to ensure support
for IPF systems, although support for other architectures has been addressed
as well..

Once the patches have been accepted and merged into the tree, we will look
into providing a cleaner mechanism for releasing LKCD kernel patches to the
community (most likely in the form of a single kernel patch against a
particular stock kernel). The patches Bob posted are against the 2.6.8-1
kernel. Is there any way to get some sanity testing of these patches from
your end?
