samba + pam interaction on lsbsi

So far, I can't make samba work inside the lsbsi. What I can do is install lsb-samba both on the native host and in the lsbsi, configure and start the daemons on the native host, and browse them using the client tools on the lsbsi. This really hints to me that we don't have pam in the lsbsi in a state where it's useful. I created an /etc/pam.d directory and installed an /etc/pam.d/samba that is the same as the one on the native host, which appears to have a lot in common on the pam front. But this wasn't good enough, apparently. I'm kind of a novice at pam, I'm asking if anyone has any pointers for me to help save me some time tracking this down. -- mats
