pam thoughts

We've had some problems with passwords being
set right on the vsxN accounts.  I'm wondering
if it makes sense for the setup to actually
set the passwords on the vsx1, vsx2 accounts
with the passwd command. It knows the passwords,
since we tell it them as part of the interview,
and it might eliminate some problems of correct
setup and mistyped passwords and so on.

Any thoughts?

I would leave vsx0 alone since it's a "real"
account that we actually log in to.
