Lawrence Lim (IRC)
The meeting concentrated on reviewing inbound problem reports
and bugzilla:
PR 79
http://www.opengroup.org:8000/lsb/publicpr/PRView?PR=0079
This appears across all architectures.
We were still not sure and decided to leave this OPEN.
PR 80
http://www.opengroup.org:8000/lsb/publicpr/PRView?PR=0080
There is information in bugzilla 1052
The demangler that this test is testing changed silently after 3.43 was
released, no symbols changed
Previously for PR.0055 we granted a TSD where we had a test under
investigation and wanted to withdraw it from that version of the test
suite, we could take this approach for PR 79 and 80 if we are
unable to decide.
bugzilla bugs, 1055, 1056:
LSB bug #1055: /tset/PTHR.os/thread/pthread_join/T.pthread_join and T.pthread_create
Component: lsb-runtime-tests, Severity: normal, Status: NEW
http://bugs.linuxbase.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1055
These look like test timing/synchronizations issues on smp kernels.
Andrew will get his vsth support engineers to look at this one.
Part 2 of the bug report regarding EINVAL now being a may fail for
pthread_join is correct (it changed in the Austin Group TC2 document).
LSB bug #1056: /thread/pthread{1-6}.cc 1 UNREPORTED
Component: qmtest_libstdcpp, Severity: normal, Status: NEW
http://bugs.linuxbase.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1056
These appear to be for the same problem as 1055.
We agreed to leave OPEN pending information from Andrew overnight.
Next Meeting Thursday Aug 4 at 15:00 UK, 09:00 Austin
