Hello all,
I have recently found an interesting failure in the LSB 3.0 runtime test on an
SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9, RC2. I don't have any idea of why it could
happen. Please, does anybody know?
The problem is specific for the s390 architecture (on a similar machine with
an s390x CPU it does not happen). It manifests itself as a failure in one of
these two test points (distribution seems random):
/tset/LSB.os/mfiles/msync_P/T.msync_P 5
(it says the st_mtime is too small, expected at least one second more)
/tset/ANSI.os/streamio/freopen/T.freopen 17
(says that the st_atime field was not marked for update, and also the time is
one second less than what it expected)
The failure only appears if the whole runtime test suite is executed in a row;
when isolating only few tests around, everything passes.
I will be glad for any advice.
Best regards,
