I am running 2006.0/x86_64 with updates
on a dual opteron.

I have had a hard time trying to use the VNC server.

tightvnc-server-1.2.9-6mdk.x86_64.rpm:
There are 2 bugs in the x86_64 server.
The server is running according to ./vncserver status, but
 1) ./vncserver stop
Shutting down VNC server: 1:bt Ambiguous output redirect.
I had to stop it by vncserver -kill :1 as user bt.
 2) The server crashes when I try to connect with vncviewer.

tightvnc-server-1.2.9-6mdk.i586.rpm:
There is the same bug when I try to stop the server:
 1) ./vncserver stop
Shutting down VNC server: 1:bt Ambiguous output redirect.

BUT the server works. I can connect with vncviewer.

Could somebody help me with the bash script vncserver.
I am not a bash programmer.
I never found out why the x86_64 version stops.
