Well, not completely, but yes, ntpd is also not working ... and it may come
from ntpd itself:

-Stay with ntpd, making 'ugly hacks' like Nicolas stated in a comment in
the bug report (note: Should be in the wiki a page related to these
hacks)?, or
-uninstall ntp, install chrony and claim that both kde (somewhat scary,
knowing the mood that the Mandriva kde team shown lately) and draktools
give support to it?

(Note: My english is very bad. I don't want raise bad feelings if I
explained bad by mistake or I seemed rude...)
