Aren't all configuration files that are modified kept (I haven't got a
MandrakeMove yet, but that's what I understood it did ...)?

I know that MandrakeMove is a Desktop system, but, when booted with USB memory
stick, /etc/samba/smb.conf should be mapped to the memory stick so I can
configure shares with samba.
