If your system depends on carroll.cac.psu.edu for updates, it is 
down.  The address is falling over to carroll.aset.psu.edu 
(128.118.2.96), but even then no response to ping.

I saw somewhere that Mandriva's build system computer was also 
down, but that was some hours ago.

I have no contact with admin for either, and no estimate when 
either might be up.
