Has anyone managed to get audio and video working on Minitube using the gstreamer back end under KDE in 2010.1? I tried the MIB binary package as well as locally built the app from source. Neither would play the video but the audio played well. There are no error messages in a console. I have all of the ffmpeg, gstreamer stuff, plf and Mandriva as well as the Fluendo codecs installed. I can't think of any package i have missing. And I added the simlink to the qt4 directory as suggested on the Minitube page. The phonon gstreamer package is installed, and the phonon xine package is not. Any ideas as to why the video won't play? The locally cached file in /tmp, i.e. minitube.mp4 plays in vlc but not totem. Any ideas would be appreciated. Rick Kunath
