I need step by step. Yes I remember having this trouble before but not with 2008 nor 2009. I used this scanner about a month ago without trouble. I tried xsane as root, I tried it again on 2008= same message.There is one trouble. I seem to remember my scanner would light up when plugged in ( not sure) but it doesn´t now. It just used to work!
