The file command lists the file as Macromedia Flash Video. flashplayer 9 (2008.1) can do nothing with it. Maybe version 10 is needed - not available from Mandriva. You are using 2009.1 so maybe that is why these things work for you. My laptops have 2009.1 x86_64. Will try one of them when there is time. vlc returns repeated errors: [flv @ 0x2aaabe2b12a0]Unsupported video codec (7) [00000368] main decoder error: no suitable decoder module for fourcc `undf'. VLC probably does not support this sound or video format. vlc has no trouble with other flv files such as the video from the Kaguya lunar orbiter.
