You have to run the command get_ iplayer by itself to get the programme numbers and populate your cache before you can run the get_iplayer --get nnn command. I have both the get_iplayer perl script and the fedora flvstreamer executable in my home directory and run the perl script from there using ./get_iplayer. I have found that there is sometimes a delay in the BBC putting an iphone version up and if you try again in a day or two the get_iplayer --get nnn command which previously failed might work. failing that the extended command using flvstreamer has usually worked for me.
