Hey Guys & Gals; I am beginning to lose my patience with an mdv-2010-x64 install. For weeks now I have been unable to use the package manager rpmdrake that is available in the kde menu's to install anything because its apparently, and regardless of how many times I reload the package lists, superglued to using only mirrors.columbia.edu as the src to pull from. I just rebooted to it 15 minutes ago, ran it, and refreshed the whole list, but nothing I select to be installed can be installed due to this particular sites apparently permanent failure, and rpmdrakes refusal to go cycle through the rest of the mirrors to find the package I want. Right now I have the impression that if yum can do it, why can't rpmdrake? Seems like a heckofagoodquestiontome. I need detailed instructions as to how I go about blacklisting that site and making it use other mandriva mirrors please. Thanks. -- Cheers, Gene "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
