Thanks for the list. It is quite a bit larger than what I had. I
rummaged around [2008 stuff if going away, apparently] and got a few
more, but not as many as on your list. BUT - the Totem player no
longer gives the 'need codec' error, and does play both A & V on an
mp4, so I do have a way of viewing the videos. THANKS! The other
players still don't work, though - don't know why, but must be missing
something they need [likely the vlc/xine/quicktime ones that I still
don't have.].

Problem semi-solved, though... :-)
