urpmf libgtkembedmoz  says that libgtkembedmoz.so is in the packages:
mozilla-thunderbird  /usr/lib/thunderbird
kompozer   /usr/lib/kompozer
seamonkey  /usr/lib/seamonkey

I don't use adobe reader 8 so I don't know if that will actually help.  
Perhaps adobe has a default browser option which you can change.
