KMail crash.

I am using kmail on Mandie 2010.2  (latest and greatest)
I have irregular crashes of Kmail, due I gather to akondai failing.
I am not sure how far back the problem lies - Akondai, mysql or dbus.
I gather there have been problems with Akondai, and I know 2011 is just around 
the corner, but any assistance in getting my kmail a little more reliable 
would be appreciated.  (I can send trace logs etc if required)
