Hi,

the problem is, that I don't even have a stable Mandriva machine to
build the packages on, all my machines run Cooker.

The thing with the MP3 encoder was just an example of what is not
allowed in Mandriva. I haven't even tried to get scummvm into
Mandriva. If I was interested in discussing problems like that I would
have joined debian-legal. :)

This isn't even a problem for you, I'd say it is an issue internal to Mandriva.
