FUD Against PLF?

Hello to all, in some places are asking to users of Mandriva 2011 not
setup PLF repositories for 2011, with this arguments

"They are old, with obsoleted program versions, not good for RPM5, and
contains many rpms that could serioulsly hurt Mandriva 2011.0"

Even  i see someone have setup a temporal codecs repository
(supposedly until Mandriva setup their restricted part of their
repositories).

Do you have a official position about your relationship with Mandriva
from 2011 to above ?
What have to say to this kind of noise ?
