If i understand you well, you are a professor.
And, as a professor, you are paid for working.

Why would'nt we have the right to be paid for working as gnu/linux
developers ?

I am not @mandriva for a long time but what I see is that we are nearly
the only commercial Gnu/Linux Distribution to totally respect the free
software spirit and that people don't stop blaming us for being
commercial.

if you are professor, you can ask your school or your university to take
the Academia program, which we developed specially for them.

the Mandriva club provides home products, the MNF is not at all an home
product.

just to say that we would be happy to have a generous donator which
would allow to live happy without charging anything for our products. 

But it is not the case and if we accept to give our cutting edge
products, nobody would accept to pay for it.

now, do what you want but i would love to have answers from you to know
the solutions you see in this case. (in private because it is not the
mailing liste goal)
