And it was indicated that all future versions would be free as well?   
I'm genuinely interested in finding that out.  I find it a little  
difficult to believe, but I've never really paid attention.

Well, I guess you're entitled to your opinion.  I don't see them as  
rude, but people will see whatever they want to see no matter how you  
phrase it I guess.
