Here is my 2 cents regarding this offtopic unproductive troll

I think it all comes down to one thing: Mandr[akesoft|iva]'s communication
with the "community" regarding the MNF licensing/development has always been
disastrous. At one point it was obvious that Florin was the only person from
MDK involved in the development process. No official statement from MDK
(regarding development or licensing) has *ever* been posted on the list.
Things are getting worse since Florin left. Hence people start speculating,
and you see this mailing-list polluted by "add me to the fantom list that
will receive a free MNF" threads among other "WTF is going on ?" threads.

Most of the people complaining on this list are -to my opinion- simply not
understanding what happens.
A single official statement on the list from a manager/PR (eg nontechnical
guy) regarding the future of the MNF would solve 80% of those problems IMHO.
Add more posts from MDK's developers, asking for bug reports and/or giving
feedback regarding what is going to come next, and things should cool down.
Since we do not hear anything official from MDK, false information and rumors
are all we have ("we" = non-Mandriva employees subscribers).

If I was still working at MDK, I would contact Jacques, François or FredL ASAP
and tell them to issue an official statement *fast*. But, hey, I'm no longer
working there so it's up to you guys (Deush, tu lis ce post ? Ca devient du
grand n'importe quoi là).
