Ok, sure, threaten and bluster all you like. Why does it always come
down to threats?
You're right, you can do this and no one can stop you. That's the
beauty of the GPL. But you completely avoided what I wrote and
you're changing the topic. We weren't talking about re-distributing
MNF2. We were talking about security updates and you were implying
we were in violation of the GPL by not making updates available to
everyone. Why did you cut all of that out and respond to the one thing?
I don't feel like, nor did I intend, to start a fight. It looks like
you were out for blood when you started posting. =(
I responded, explicitly, to your concerns and now you change the
subject and then start threatening to give it away for free? Nice.

Because I can't? Why would I possibly answer something I have no
ideas about? Unless you'd like me to fabricate a complete bogus
response? Would you like that? Since when was I involved with MNF,
even for QA? I'm not a MNF developer, and I'm certainly not QA. I
can't answer this, so why would I try?

What in the hell does this have to do with the GPL?!?
As for why the archives stop, I have no idea. The most likely answer
is sympa sucks, it unsubscribed the archiver robot, and no one
bothered to say anything when they noticed, so it never got fixed.
I still fail to see how *any* of this has anything to do with
Mandriva apparently being in violation of the GPL because we're not
making MNF updates publically available.
