Someone that has your private address has shared it. They may have done it by
getting themselves infected with a worm a virus.

A real common method with 'friends and families' is when someone sends out an
email and carbon copies a bunch of different people. This one really pisses me
off, and it has become painfully obvious to anyone that has done this to me.

Doing a 'reply-to-all' and saying something like:

"You didn't ask me if you could share my email address with [email protected], [email protected],
[email protected], etc. but if you had, the answer would have been no"

can be very effective.
